The Quartz and Sandstone hills of Torridon above Loch Torridon, line the Southern expanse of Wester Ross and give exhilarating sea-to-summit experiences with narrow ridges, pinnacles, Tors and deep gullies with remote corries. Like each area of Scotland, Torridon creates it's own attraction which draws folk back time after time.

For your visit, you will only be led by Andy as this terrain demands that clients are led by Mountain Professionals from The Association of Mountaineering Instructors who (along with Guides from British Association of Mountain Guides) are best suited to lead scrambling itineraries.

We like to enable you to be as flexible as possible with your choice so you only pay us for our time with you and we ask that you make your arrangements for accommodation and food.

Please note that you will need to be prepared for these hill days with previous experience of scrambling to get the benefit of your guided days. We would recommend that you need to be confident moving over sections of exposed, narrow and sometimes steep Grade 1 & 2 scrambling terrain.

Also, Andy will discuss your ideas, gain an understanding of your past experience and if necessary recommend a short preparation session of at least 1/2 day (from £100 per person) before attempting your chosen route. He reserves the right to abandon the route if, in his view, conditions and/or a client's movement presents issues of safety.

The weather on in the North West Highlands, like any mountain area, can be extremely changeable; so our itinerary may be changed to enable you to experience these vast hill or neighbouring hills like Beinn Bhan in Applecross.
