About: Welcome to my website.
My name's Andy Cloquet and, with my father as an Alpinist in the 1950's and an Uncle at a major Outdoor Centre, I left school after years of inspirational adventure training and started work as an Outdoor Instructor at Drake's Island, Plymouth.
Once established in Scotland, I qualified & worked as a Teacher of English & Outdoor Learning whilst developing my personal climbing to achieve the prestigious Mountaineering Instructors Certificate (now called 'Winter Climbing and Mountaineering Instructor').
I have been delivering for over 35 years outdoor activity, professional instruction & guiding and I have been Training Officer for Ochils Mountain Rescue and delivered training to sister teams and corporate clients.
My Associates and I each have substantial experience in the outdoor industry: so, when you engage our services, Outdoor Adventure Scotland will plan and deliver your adventures, training or corporate events to match your needs, wishes and ambitions.
From your enquiry and our first conversation, through your booking and my planning, to my delivery of your adventure, my aim is your satisfaction, safety and sound recommendation.
I also have a set of preferred partners and if I am unable to take your booking or think one of my partners would better suit your plans I will happily make such a recommendation.
When you contact me, please be patient if you don't receive an immediate reply as I am probably out on the hills with clients.
If there's anything you don't see which you think I could provide then please ask or offer your suggestion: the better my services, the better your experiences.
